Overview

The Institute Of Driving & Traffic Research is a joint venture between Transport dep. and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.

The main focus of the IDTRs is to train passenger and commercial vehicle drivers with the help of world-class training infrastructure and qualified trainers. The use of scientifically designed training tracks and simulators keep the training environment in these IDTRs very close to the experience of actually driving on Indian roads. Over the years, IDTR have built a reputation of being among the finest driving and road safety training facilities in India

At present there are 8 IDTRs across India:

2. Institute of Driving & Traffic Research at Sarai Kale Khan, Delhi
3. Institute of Driving & Traffic Research at Bahadurgarh, Haryana
4. Institute of Driving & Traffic Research at Rohtak, Haryana
5. All Gujarat Institute of Driving Technical Training & Research at Vadodara, Gujarat
6. Institute of Driving & Traffic Research at Dehradun, Uttarakhand
7. Institute of Driving & Traffic Research at Aurangabad, Bihar
8. Institute of Driving & Traffic Research at Naya Raipur, Chhattisgarh
